Genshin Impact: A Meeting Of Melodies Event Guide (2024)

As part of the Iridescent Arataki Rockin' For Life Tour De Force Of Awesomeness in Genshin Impact, you'll need to invite some familiar faces to the event. When you ask them to attend, they'll present you with a mini game called A Meeting Of Melodies.

Part musical mini game, part puzzle, you'll need to identify the missing notes from short tunes hummed by the Mondstadt residents. This guide will help you master the melodies.

How To Start A Meeting Of Melodies

There are three parts to A Meeting Of Melodies. They take place in Inazuma City, Liyue Harbour, and Mondstadt City.

In each location you'll see three musical note icons on your map. These indicate three city residents you need to speak to.

You'll need to interact with them and invite them to the music festival in Inazuma. When they claim to not know much about music, Traveler will offer to play a tune they request. Unfortunately, they don't remember all the notes, and you'll have to figure them out.

You'll need to speak to each one in turn and then complete the musical puzzle they give you which involves selecting the correct missing notes for the tune they hum.

How To Play A Meeting Of Melodies

Firstly, the character will hum a tune. As they hum, you'll see the tune appear along the screen as a string of notes with some gaps in the middle.

You'll then be placed on a screen where your current character will play an instrument, and you'll see the same string of notes with numbered gaps appear.

You need to select the numbered space in order to add in the missing notes from a choice of three.

On this screen you can play each bar of the song in order to work out the missing note. When you select a note and play the bar again, you'll hear it with the selected note in place. Once it sounds correct, move onto the next bar.

After you've added all the notes, press return to go back to the song.

Don't worry if you miss a note. It will show as a red error, as seen above, and you'll be able to jump back into the song and select the correct note.

The event is complete once you've solved all three song puzzles in each of the three capital cities.

Twilight's Glow Nocture Song Solutions

Twilight's Glow Nocture takes place in Inazuma City and features three stall vendors. Here are the solutions to their songs.

Twilight's Glow Nocture First Movement Solution

This song comes from Yukio, who is a street food vendor. You can find him by going to the Inazuma City waypoint then heading up the stairs in front of you. Just ahead you'll see Yayoi Laquerware, and the crafting area. Turn right here, just before the bridge, and Yukio is with his food stall just ahead of you.

Yukio's song is called Hanachirusato and has four missing notes. The solution, also shown above, is:

This song, called A Harmonious Rest, comes from Tomoki, who is also a street food vendor. Head to the Inazuma City waypoint then up the stairs in front of you. Just ahead you'll see the Adventuer's Guild on the right. Tomoki is just past this.

The Evening Breeze of the Serenade songs can be found in Liyue Harbour. To get them easily, head to the most Northern waypoint. Here are all the solutions.

Evening Breeze Of The Serenade: First Movement Solution

Xingxi, owner of Mingxing Jewelry, wants you to play Clear Sky Over Liyue. You can find her at her store, just past the Golden House. To get there head forward from the waypoint, then turn left at the junction. Follow the path down, across the square, and she's on the right, just after the Adventurer's Guild.

The second song in this batch is from Linlang, owner of Xigu Antiques. To find her, simply head from the Waypoint to the main path and follow it down towards the square where the Golden House is. After cutting across the square, you'll find her on the right, just set back from the lantern merchant.

This song, Le Souvenir Avec Le Crepuscule, is from Jifang, Boss of the Wanwen Bookhouse. To get here, simply head to the building directly across from the waypoint, and go up the stairs. Jifang is in front of you, outside the main building and by the bridge on the first floor.
