Namaste,

Do you also like to sing like me?

Just like that, out of pure joy of life!

My favorite thing is to sing Indian mantras. Something happens inside me while chanting the sacred syllables, words and names of the deities. A subtle energy unfolds and my body vibrates internally, almost as if I were docked to a divine outlet.

The mantra “Lokah Samasta Sukkhino Bhavantu” is one of my favorites. It means: May all beings in all worlds be free and happy. What a beautiful wish! In addition to the clear pronunciation of the syllables, the correct intonation is also important. Then the rhythm and the melody are also based on this when composing. Thus a small, own music cosmos develops.

Sometimes I compose melodies to the mantra words myself.

The other day I spontaneously made a recording of our session with a friend. You can find it here… and it’s in Sanskrit and German.

Groove in and just sing along.

In the live retreats with Madhukar we also like to chant together in the group.
The energy created by so many people chanting is full of power, joy of life and lightness.
You almost feel a little “high” afterwards.
Maybe you would like to chant with us! Here you can find the next dates of the retreats, when we also sing.

Where does the mantra come from and in what language is it written?

Sanskrit is often used as the language of mantras, Vedas and classical Indian texts. It is known for its precise and poetic expression.
